MISS TROULI
DJ, pop icon in the making and club culture researcher, Miss Trouli is a true dancefloor aficionada. She strives to explore a wide spectrum of club music and create sensual, dynamic environments related to desire, hedonism, femininity and togetherness. Her selections are unapologetic, while she unexpectedly crosses genres and decades, from house music essentials to seductive bass and trancey melodies, with a dose of millennial nostalgia - aiming to bring out a sense of liberation, bliss and belonging to everyone that dances with her.
She also tries to transform her passion for electronic music into academic research on club culture, spaces and communities. Her writings are inquiries of the embodied experience, healing process and dissolving of hierarchies taking place on the dancefloor - elements that she strives to locate and nourish as a DJ too.
CÁRPATOS
Is a strange but cute creature that inhabits the dark forests of the World Wide Web. They have a slender body with a very long, very bushy tail and large eyes. Their feet, which include an often poorly developed thumb, have soft pads on the undersides and versatile, sturdy claws for grasping and climbing. They eat small memes throughout the day and compliment their diet with quirky Soundcloud tunes. As a very hyperactive being CÁRPATOS, needs to be constantly producing some kind of visual joke or experimental composition. They have several critiques of modern society which are constantly being oppressed by political correctness, moral literalism and liberal orthodoxy, this has led them to the artistic practices of crypticism, post-irony and new sincerity, in order to not commit suicide.
NICOL BOLAS
Athens-based multidisciplinary artist and founder of IDJTFAY, Nicol Bolas explores a wide spectrum of genres, from fast bouncy riddims to noisy metallic breaks, percussive sounds, punchy kicks and powerful bass. All blending into an emotional and energetic vision of club music.
