A visual documentation about an invitation to listen together, read and recognise the knowledges, stories, memories and song shared between us and the trees.
Ritual for a Burnt Forest. TRT: 00:16:35 2022
Documenting 3 days in a burnt forest in Evia, experimenting around the creation of rituals to accompany and support the regeneration process. Mingling our bodies together with the clay, water, plants and sky we imagine, discuss and put in practice ideas for meaningful ways to mourn, connect, and heal with our forests.

About the space:
Mouries Collective is a fluid and interdisciplinary group of female artists, researchers and therapists based in Athens, Greece. Established in 2021 we focus on developing connections with trees, plants and the diverse beings with whom we share this planet. We are now working under the theme of healing and (e)merging women’s knowledge while refining our collective processes. We engage through encounters, picnics and workshops that are multi-media, inter-sectional, inclusive, creative mixes, either intervening in public space or exploring group dynamics through the framework of care. At this time we are Isabel Gutierrez Sanchez, Maria Juliana Byck, Sanem Su Avci, Thalia Dimitropoulou and Vasilikí Sifostratoudaki and Eliana Otta.
