Cypher → 08.05.12.16. — Exhibition by Eliza Krikoni

What does danger look like? Can you hear it? Does it smell? Can you touch it?  For each person, the answer to these questions is different, thus determining the prism through which they will approach and experience this exhibition. In the project "08.05.12.16." Elisa Krikoni focuses on the concept of danger, the need to call for help, and possible ways of survival, intertwining her qualities as a visual artist and performer. The body, sound or narrative play both a symbolic and vital role in the artworks, inviting visitors to interact with them in order to explore the messages they carry and confront the emotions that accompany them. The information provided for the decoding of visual, tactile and audio messages is deliberately schematic, referring to the immediacy and non-verbal signals used to communicate nautical emergencies. Come closer to open the first aid kit, stretch the rubber band, make some bubbles and break the code of communication!
